28th July 2007 Windsurfing: Shoreham Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: Session time = 3-7pm Surf / Sea State: LT@5pm Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: Yet another windier-than-expected solid summer Saturday session coinciding with perfect tide times. Started with 5.8 on 430 but this soon became way too big so changed down to 5.2 on 400 leaving the 5.8 still rigged. A period of swapping between each sail followed but eventually I settled on the 5.2 with down and outhaul released. 4 hours with very few breaks meant that by the end of the session I was really in "the zone". Body drags were on the menu again and I pulled off a sufficient number to make me feel I've got them nailed oh yeah. Too windy today to try out the shiny new JP Freestyle 109 but I wasn't complaining. :) |
